FOUR KAYAK TRIPS, Culinary & Leadership Training (III+ to IV+)

November 2 - December 14, 2019

BEST BANG FOR YOUR BOOF!

We figured out what student kayakers really want. KAYAKING. KAYAKING. KAYAKING. How good your kayaking will become and all of the media. Our best package yet gives kayakers four kayak trips and professional outdoor culinary arts training program.

FOUR KAYAK TRIPS & Professional Expedition Culinary Training

Now students can benefit from culinary training by professional chefs offered to our retreat staff and wannabe staff. Our objective is to train our staff and students to operate a high quality retreat menus production team. We think every student should know how to cook and work in a kitchen as these are real life skills.

What will you learn and do in Chile?

Component 1 (wk 1), Culinary Skills for a Lifetime

Catering, buffets, & fireside cooking; Buffet planning & production; Sanitation & production. Students will receive culinary training from culinary professionals. Week one commences with kitchen staff and culinary student training with an intense week of menu planning, budgeting, food shops, buffet and food presentation, experimental meal prep amongst staff, and sanitation procedures. These are culinary skills you will keep with you for a life time.

Component 2 (wk 2), Pucon Creek Week NOV 9 – 16 Value $US1995 CLICKABLE ITIN

Students will shift from culinary arts to waterfall and river running artists. This intensive week of Pucon’s best whitewater season features instruction and training on world-class features offering every possible advanced move to the progressing kayaker. Training includes safety and decision making based principles, individual technique development and coaching, the art of waterfall flight, and various levels of boofing on a great selection of rivers.

Component 3 (wk 3), Kayak Training, Logistics Planning, Rio Claro +PLUS Maipo Whitewater Kayaking Trip NOV 16 – 22 LINK Value $1795 CLICKABLE ITIN

Students will be exploring arguably the world’s most glorious whitewater kayak waterfall destination at Chile’s Seven Teacups National Park. For 57 million years the basalt desert chasm has been carved, milled, and polished creating sloping, banking, ramps dropping into turquoise pools. This is as good as kayaking gets.

Component 4 (wk 4), Claro +PLUS Rio Nuble Chile Whitewater Kayak Trip (NOV 23 – 30) Value $US1795 CLICKABLE ITIN

Kayak development and training continues for our second week at the world’s most glorious waterfalls destination. Often, kayakers are just learning a run during the first week and can be overly timid. Once a section is learnt kayakers become more comfortable, their skills adjust and improve, photo and video angles too are learnt. Actually, during week 1 the drops are so fun that kayakers many times neglect to get the best shots. So week two is even better for media planning.

Component 5 (wk 5), Pucon Creek Week NOV 30 – DEC 7 Value $US1995 CLICKABLE ITIN

Students will be stoked to return to the comforts of their home Pucon base to wash and have a warm bed again. This is the final week of intensive kayak trips. Pucon’s best whitewater season features instruction and training on world-class features offering every possible advanced move to the progressing kayaker. Training includes safety and decision making based principles, individual technique development and coaching, the art of waterfall flight, and various levels of boofing on a great selection of rivers.

Component 6 Culinary Final Project – Produce Menu Meal & Balancing Kayaking.  Past students have produced some seriously impressive and delicious menu meals in the past. Students will research, budget, create recipe and meal items, shop, produce, manage a kitchen team, and present a final menu meal product. Hmmm… we are as excited as you. Oh yea. Kayakers will have a slower more relaxing week of kayaking.

KEEP KAYAKING.
